Slot Bookings
Refund eligibility for slot bookings depends on the timing of your cancellation:
- Advance cancellation — cancellations made well in advance of the booked slot are eligible for a full refund or a free reschedule to another available slot.
- Late cancellations — cancellations made close to the slot time may not be eligible for a refund, as the slot is reserved exclusively for you and cannot be reassigned.
- No-shows — if you do not arrive for your booked slot without prior cancellation, the booking amount is forfeited.
- Cancellation by us — if we cancel a slot due to weather, maintenance, or any operational reason, you will receive a full refund or a complimentary reschedule at your choice.
Memberships
Membership purchases are subject to the following refund terms:
- Non-refundable once activated — memberships are generally non-refundable after activation, as benefits (discounts, priority booking, etc.) take effect immediately upon purchase.
- Exceptional circumstances — in special cases (e.g., medical reasons, relocation), a prorated refund may be considered at our sole discretion on a case-by-case basis.
- Duplicate or accidental charges — if you are charged twice or make an accidental purchase, the duplicate amount will be refunded in full upon verification.
- Membership upgrades — if you upgrade your membership plan, the remaining value of your current plan may be adjusted against the new plan at our discretion.
Tournament Registrations
Tournament entry fees follow these refund guidelines:
- Before registration deadline — entry fees are fully refundable if cancellation is requested before the published registration deadline for the event.
- After registration deadline — refunds after the deadline are subject to the specific event's cancellation rules, which are published on the tournament details page.
- Tournament cancelled by organisers — if we cancel or postpone a tournament, all registered participants receive a full refund of their entry fees.
- Disqualification — entry fees are not refundable if a team or participant is disqualified for violating tournament rules.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, you can use any of the following methods:
- In-app request — raise a refund request directly from your booking or payment history within the app.
- Email — write to us at hello@greenboxsports.in with your payment reference number and reason for the refund.

Refund Processing
Once a refund request is approved:
- Refunds are credited to your original payment method (the card, UPI, or bank account used for the transaction).
- Processing typically takes 5–7 business days, depending on your bank or card provider.
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been initiated from our end.
Important Notes
- Payment gateway fees — where applicable, non-refundable payment gateway processing fees may be deducted from the refund amount.
- Partial refunds — in some cases, a partial refund may be offered instead of a full refund, based on the circumstances and timing of the request.
- Disputes — if you disagree with a refund decision, you may escalate the matter by contacting us directly. We are committed to resolving disputes fairly and promptly.
